His first film, “Creepin,” was an R-rated movie and had comedians from BET. His next film, “Raykwan’s Cuties,” a spoof on “Charlie’s Angels,” was about three girls tracking down their babies fathers all over the country. His latest features are the "Lil' Homeez" series, that are kid friendly and violence free. He makes the movies with little or no budget and they are stocked in major video retailers around the country.

Again SC GOPers show their disrespect
The crude, disrespectful and racist overtures toward Michelle Obama by SCGOP activist & former State Senate candidate Rusty DePass displays his inappropriate, humorless and UNAMERICAN view of the Obama family and the institution of The White House. Of course, there will be those that defend the remark as an ancestral reference, but this was not an anthropoid study of the development of the human race; this was a slanderous attack, against Michelle Obama, The First Lady. Maybe I should say that again, The First Lady of the United States. The wife of the President of the United States. The President of the United States.
It is widely known that the GOP and the DNC are combatants in the political arena, and jabs are always and routinely expected, but that line is obliterated by senseless slander against one's heritage and race. When insensitive and UNAMERICAN remarks like this show up on social network sites by members, elected or selected, to represent the views of their respective communities and this is the type of behavior we have to endure, it is no wonder that this country is in disrepair. A statement like this, and there have been others, show not only the HIIDEN despise and contempt targeted at the Obamas, but at the African American community at large.
Read that last line again and very carefully, because I’m sure you feel that that does not pertain to you. You’re upset. You ask, “Why are you classifying me and everyone else to this idiot?” Welcome to the world of generalization. Besides, if you were born during the late 70s and later, you are more than likely to young to realize the impact of what is going on. Some of you may even think that this is not newsworthy, which unfortunately show your immaturity and apathetic views on events that could impact you.

Reelblack's Soul Food Cinema Returns Friday June 19
Philadelphia filmmaker Mike Dennis Curator and co-host of Reelblack Presents has had his work screened nationwide: the Starz Denver Pan African Film Festival, the Hip Hop Film Festival, the SE Manly Short Film Festival in Los Angeles and he was awarded the “Emerging Filmmaker award” at the North Carolina Cine Noir Festival. As an African American and an independent filmmaker, Mike Dennis saw the the need to provide a venue for filmmakers to showcase their works. Reelblack Presents, a monthly film screening series, is such a venue.
Soul Food Cinema Presents THIS THING CALLED LOVE A Brooklyn Romantic Comedy.
When a broken hearted teacher, Fred Hansen (Eden Marryshow), meet his student’s aunt, Erica Clark (Sara Pickett), their lives are in recent upheaval. Jessica Alba poster plastering
Just a thought but I wonder if Bill O'Reilly will go after Jessica Alba for plastering those shark-conservation posters around Oklahoma City? Of course, I think he will tread softly based on the last "rant" he made; but this time he'll have some pretty damn good ammunition.
I will be found!
This economic "depressing recession" (isn't that the same thing?) hit me hard. Um.., yeah.., it hurt, but I'm okay. I found out a few things about some people that I won't get into here, but... what the hell, let's just say they suck.
One thing became apparent though, is that during this down time I realized what I missed the most and have been off-track for a long time: the process of making movies, writing scripts, reading scripts, watching movies and discussing movies. Yep, I'm a moviephobe (is that my word or did I hear it somewhere?)
In any event, for the lone child report reader out there (which may only be me at this point) and to those of you passing by on this web highway and happen to see my exit sign during your searches (if this lands on a top ranking page, thank you Google), I hereby announce that I will start updating this blog (fanfare starts here) again.
I will begin by updating my blogroll, my twitter page, and whatever else I have, to once again be among the millions who are probably doing the same thing. If I get ranked at the bottom of page ten in your searches, so be it!
But I will be found! By all that is search engine ready and spider reachable, I WILL BE FOUND!
Uh, are spiders still used? Is that term still used?
So prepare yourselves, to receive a link and/or re-read something someone else has posted elsewhere, and pray that it is a good read; for in my haste, I may miss something....

Octuplets media coverage is getting harsh
Media coverage of Nadya Suleman, 33, who gave birth to the octuplets has ranged from:
1 - a miracle that anyone can have eight children, and that they all survived childbirth.
2 - amazement that anyone can have eight children.
3 - congratulations and support for the mother, then
4 - finding out about the fertilization treatments, also six other children
5 - outrage over the fertilization treatments.
6 - condemning the use of fertilization and the mother for having eight children out of wedlock, especially in this economy.
7 - counseling for the mother and her parents.
8 - family ostricizing the mother because they feel she was obsessed with having children.
What's Next?
I'm no doctor, I'm no economist and I'm no social worker, but for whatever reason this woman had to undergo fertilization to have more children, is her own. Obviously, with the current economy in crisis and her being a single mom with an extremely large family, particularly with the newborns, weighs heavily on the minds of many people and I'm sure she has been having some serious thoughts also.
According to an Associated Press report, she has a degree in child and adolescent development and is studying for a master's degree in counseling, so she is not someone people can label as "unintelligient." One issue lies with the fertility treatment, that is allowing her to undergo the procedure although she already had six children. Someone dropped the ball doing background research.
Nadya Suleman's mother was counseled to get out of the house. I guess forcing her out on the street will "wake her up" and end her obsession with having children. It makes me wonder about what counselors think about family values. Before this modern age of medicine, there were cases of people who have had large families of six or more; some married, some not. What about those families that lost a loved one to some tragic incident or natural causes and left a single parent to carry the responsibility of raising the children? I know of many people who talk about the size of their family, whether it was from childbirth or by remarrying, the fact remains that it is a family, big or small.
I think Nadya Suleman knew the risks of that fertilization treatment and apparently she has the determination and spirit to raise her children, no matter what other people are saying.
I think the focus now should be on helping this woman get back to health so she can nurture her children, instead of berating her.

Michael Steele won the race for RNC Chairman during the sixth vote of the RNC elections with 91 votes. He becomes the first African American to head the Republican National Committee. AP reports Serena Williams wins her 10th Grand Slam title, 20 overall, and a return to the No. 1 ranking.
Williams became the fifth woman to win four or more Australian titles. By making the singles and doubles finals, she already had become the all-time leading money winner in women’s sports.
It was Williams’ 20th overall Grand Slam title. She won her eighth women’s doubles crown with sister Venus on Friday and has two mixed-doubles championships.
