The comparison of being a Black man and a Veteran today vs. 1971 and before...
It's not about disrespect for the flag, it's about respect for LIFE. Not yours....OURS. According to Huffington Post, "police and law enforcement officials killed at least 223 black Americans in the year after Kaepernick first began to protest." Now that number is way larger before he did this. Think about that. And how many were unarmed and/or non-violent? Think about that. Many people claim removing SYMBOLS are a disrespect to their way of life, yet remain mute about the untold number of Black Americans that were killed. Think about that. So, tell me, #WhatsHappeningBrother
